DOCTRINE: IS OUR MESSAGE
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone of what/who we preach and teach. We believe in the Apostles Doctrine and that our faith journey is about relationship instead of religion.
SPIRIT LED: IS WHO WE ARE
Nothing we set our energy or efforts towards should be accomplished without direction from the Holy Spirit. We must continually keep active the gift of the Spirit in our personal prayer time as it is the source of inspiration for all things.
PEOPLE: ARE OUR HEART
Whether you are a single person with no family nearby, or you belong to an immediate family of 10, Vida is a place where you can build relationships and connections with others and meet your need for support as we follow after Christ together.
HEART FOR THE HOUSE: IS OUR PURSUIT
Having a Heart for the House means that you have made a commitment to be planted in THIS House of God. “…that I may dwell in the house of the Lord…” Psalms 27:4.
NEXT GENERATION: IS OUR FUTURE
We believe in the development and investment in the next generation of leaders and laborers in the Kingdom of God. We are all replaceable, and our goal is to constantly seek, train and love the next generation to take up a ministry mantle.
EXCELLENCE: IS OUR SPIRIT
Not to be confused with perfection, we place a strong value on excellence as presenting the best we can offer at the highest level of advanced preparation and care for details. We are on time, engaged and prepared.
HONOR: IS OUR CALLING
We believe that every person is created in the image of God and has the ability to become a son or daughter of the King. We value each person’s uniqueness and calling. Honor is revealed how we treat and love our neighbor.
What We Believe
GOD
We believe in one God who is eternal and invisible (Deut. 6:4) and who is the creator of heaven and He chose to reveal Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
THE BIBLE
We have faith that the Bible is the Word of God. It is our infallible source of supreme revelation of God, superior to all consciousness and reasoning, and necessary in our daily lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin; who lived a sinless life, who was crucified on Calvary for our sins, and rose from the grave. He was exalted to the throne of God where he is the only mediator between God and man. We trust that through his life and death, we have personal salvation and the power to live in victory (John 1:1-2, 14; 1 Timothy 3:16; Acts 7:37-38).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4)
BAPTISM
We believe in baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Acts 2:38).
